At the age of 12, he built his first shed for a client while working in the family business in New Mexico. Over the years, Vance has honed his skills across various construction disciplines, including roofing, drywall installation, concrete pouring, cabinetry, wood and steel framing, sheet metal installation, and site preparation. He is also a
licensed CDL driver and has spent several years building, selling, and delivering sheds, especially during the early years of Better Barns.

In his current role as General Manager and Construction Manager, Vance oversees operations from sales to construction, ensuring that Better Barns delivers quality storage solutions with integrity and exceptional customer service.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Vance is deeply committed to his faith in Jesus, which is central to his life. He cherishes time spent with his wife, Deanna, and their two sons, Blake and Bryce. An avid outdoorsman, Vance enjoys fishing, hunting, cooking, traveling, shopping, and playing disc golf. He is a lifelong learner, passionate
about mastering new skills, creating with his hands, and serving others.
